I was Dr. Syeda today, my dentist since almost 6 years. Today she did my crowns, seamless prophy cleaning that was really pain free incomparison to the traditional scaling method. By God's grace her works are very professional and her dedication to ensure her patient feels very comfortable is very important for her and that is truly commendable!! Yesterday I visited the clinic for a teeth cleaning. The doctor insisted that I undergo an additional procedure that was not covered by my insurance. When I explained that I could not afford the extra AED 200, I felt pressured to pay for it. I ended up spending about an hour discussing the issue instead of receiving the treatment I came for. The experience made me feel uncomfortable and disappointed. I believe patients should be informed of optional treatments without feeling pressured or threatened if they decline.

I did my scaling and polishing with Dr Sameah Hashimy at Zee Dent Polyclinic in Dubai Silicon Oasis.
Due to crowding in the lower front teeth I need to have a cleaning done regularly and this was indeed one of the most thorough yet gentle scaling experience I have ever had. I also have an issue with limited mouth opening which I conveyed to the dentist before starting the procedure and the dentist and the assistant Sangita ensured throughout the procedure that I was comfortable.
I also did two fillings under nitrous oxide sedation
Highly recommend Zee Dent for their patient focused care
